Just thought I would check in and let you all know I've made it as far as London. A few hours here, then onto Paris and finally a 7+ hour flight to Nairobi.
Was able to sleep on the flight from Atlanta and watch a cute movie with Ricky Gervais and Greg Kinnear.
And I suspect I might've been sitting next to US spy, as the gentleman was heading to Yemen and couldn't tell me what his job was there. Suddenly, my trip doesn't sound so exotic.
:)
Hey Daryn nice to know you are good!~.
Oh about the guy from Yemen that was funny....was he cute?
just kidding!~.
You know Daryn he probably thought you were an American Spy,lol.or he was thinking hmm why is this pretty American lady talking to me?LOL
U be good Daryn take care!~Safety first leave those dark strangers alone!~ lol.I am, so teasing you girl!~U go!~.Luv Ya from Florida Barbie here!~
Glad to hear it's all going smootly. That's funny about you meeting the suspected US spy. This is so cool how you're giving us updates. I love today's technology. There are so many great and wonderful things we can do with it that just weren't possible 10-20 years ago. The world shrinks and we realise just how connected we are to other people who live far away...people who are very different from ourselves. The internet allows us all to interact in a real space, and in a real way right from the comfort of home (or while we travel, as is the case with you right now!).
I'll have to remember that response, the next time a lady asks me what I do for a living; "I'm sorry Ma'am, I wish I could tell you what I do for a living, but unfortunately I can't" and I wouldn't be making up a lie either, since I don't have a job right now :-))
Erin, 2009 made me grow up. I had to seek me last year and then correct some of the things. But I know that I took a step forward even though life tried to keep me back.
I am not MAD at 2009!
Every year ends in a mixture of emotions for those reflecting upon it. 2009 seems to be one of those years. I have heard people emphatically say “goodbye to 2009”. The year has brought to some great joy and to other great pain…
