I have a soft spot for siblings looking out for one another. As the eldest of six children, I know what it means to look out for and protect a younger sibling. Now as an adult, I find myself particularly touched by caring, self-sacrificing siblings. I am moved by anything from a sibling requesting extra candy so he/she can share with a sibling, to the stories of heroism where life-saving actions are taken. Erin, 2009 made me grow up. I had to seek me last year and then correct some of the things. But I know that I took a step forward even though life tried to keep me back.
