I have some pretty special house guests arriving tomorrow, the women who run Hekima Place. That's the amazing home for girl scholars in Kenya where I spent Christmas last year. Fresh flowers, easy - fast read, inspirational and other books, a robe and a deck of cards in the guest room. Little touches that represent who you are in their space. Enjoy!
I know you will have a fantastic time with your guests. How about a picture frame with a special greeting waiting in their room? Then, when it is time for them to go, be sure to give them a picture of you together that fits in the frame. This way, they are greeted with a friendly word or a piece of poetry when they get there and they have a very special gift to remember their trip when they go home.
