Itzhak Perlman - virtuoso violinist, polio survivor who is donating his time and talent with the NY Philharmonic for a benefit concert to End Polio Now! All proceeds go to Rotary’s US$200 Million Challenge from the Gates Foundation to help create a polio free world. He has always inspired me as a fellow polio survivor whose gift of music could not be silenced by the physical challenges he experiences.
