I try to live by Philipians 4:8 in the bible, which reads:

"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."

Focussing on positive news is a necessity to truly living this out.

I NEED POSITIVE NEWS! I can find all the depressing, distressing, gut wrenching, panic inducing informational news all day long. Try to find a good positive story? Placed somewhere on the back of the newspaper or at the very end of a news broadcast. I prefer to view my world as half-full and I need positive news to keep filling up the glass! Thank you soooo much Daryn!! PLEASE keep it going!

Thanks for the Daily Daryn. I love reading your commentary and the uplifting stories of real people. I share your site with others because the world is in dire need of positive news. The story of the "Two dogs fighting" comes to my mind. I believe it was a wise Indian Chief who said that he always felt like there were two dogs fighting inside of him. Someone asked him "Which one is winning?", to which he replied "The one I feed the most." We are all innundated with news of the bad and the sad and the horriffic headlines of the day. We see people angry, complaining, negativity all around us. So it is crucial that we put positivity (is that a word?) into our brains and extend it to others. We need to FOCUS on the positive, because the dog we feed the most WINS!

You are what you fill your mind of!!! If I have a choice, I choose positive filling!!!
It feels good & reminds me that there is good out there. I'd rather here and share about positive things happening rather than bad!

Its always nice to share positive news with other.it brings the smile back on you face as well as on others face.Always try to distribute positive energy to others.Try to Filtrete the bad enegry and bring out the positive from your end and share it with others.

Postive news can be very uplifiting...showing that progress IS being made to improve the world!

I love the flow of giving and receiving positive news. As humans we are 'wired' to have the negative news and views stick like velcro and the positive news and views to slide off like teflon (Marci Shimoff, Happy For No Reason). By focusing on positive news and views it helps me to reverse this 'natural' tendency so that positive news, joy, love, inspiration, helping our fellow travelers becomes the natural state and the negative news and views can be whisked away with a prayer asking God to transform the situation. For me, it's all about what I drink in and give out to the world and I choose to add to the love and light rather than focus on the darkness.
