- First of all..I am so glad I found your site, Daryn!
It is refreshing..and so positive.
I am a widow, 60 years of age. Mother of two wonderful adult (kids:) and a proud grandmother too. I like to write, just keep journals more or less. Some poetry sometimes if the inspiration comes. Love nature, animals, the ocean, music. Special people that we meet on the path it's all part of the big picture.

Erin, 2009 made me grow up. I had to seek me last year and then correct some of the things. But I know that I took a step forward even though life tried to keep me back.
I am not MAD at 2009!
Every year ends in a mixture of emotions for those reflecting upon it. 2009 seems to be one of those years. I have heard people emphatically say “goodbye to 2009”. The year has brought to some great joy and to other great pain…
