- I'm a baby boomer - yet ageless in my mind and heart. My passion, other than family and friends, lies in my writing short stores, poetry and children's stories. I write with gentleness, humor, and sarcasm. I strive to publish my own book someday. I'm a Scorpio (true to the core!), an administrative assistant, and an avid reader -- Nicholas Sparks, Joel Osteen, Rick Warren, and mysteries. I love stories of human nature and heroism. A Father's Legacy
One a year it comes -- that Sunday in June, when fathers are heralded for their vital contributions to their sons and daughters. To all those deserving -- Happy Father's Day.
My father passed away in December 2001 after a five-year battle with cancer. This invasive enemy began in his colon and he underwent a colostomy. Recess
Today is June 18th -- Recess at Work Day! I have my entire eight-hour day planned out.
