July 2nd. What's so special about today? It's National 'I Forgot Day.' No joke. I found this little known fact on www.brownielocks.com. You can print monthly calendars which show special events. So, I'm going to celebrate this day. Instead of saying 'the check is in the mail,' I'll simply say 'I forgot.' If I don't submit that report on time that my boss wants, oh well, 'I forgot.' One a year it comes -- that Sunday in June, when fathers are heralded for their vital contributions to their sons and daughters. To all those deserving -- Happy Father's Day.

My father passed away in December 2001 after a five-year battle with cancer. This invasive enemy began in his colon and he underwent a colostomy. Today is June 18th -- Recess at Work Day! I have my entire eight-hour day planned out. I'm going to take out my pencil and paper and write blogs about famiily, friends, being (or not being) PC (wasn't the definition 'personal computer' at one time).
