Contest Launched to Help Homeless Animals...win a home valued at over $780,000 in New England

The Conway Area Humane Society has launched a home essay contest, with the grand prize of a $780,000 home in New England. Our shelter provides assistance to over 1,000 animals every year, and it is our hope that this contest will help us to keep our doors open in 2009 and beyond. Many non profits are looking to innovative fund-raising approaches in order to keep their organizations going, and we are hopeful that our story will be an inspiration to charities across the country.
