Why Men and Women don’t understand Each other

When it comes to communication between men and women we have certain differences in communication styles. For example if a woman ask a man a question like ” What do you want for dinner Chinese food or Pizza” and he just answers “pizza”. Later that night the woman might be upset at the guy because he didn’t discuss with her if she wanted pizza or Chinese.

This isn’t true for every man and women but in most cases this is how it is. There have been studies on it.

Another example is if a woman is telling a guy her problems the guy would most likely try to solve it but most women don’t want the guy to solve it they just want him to listen.

We say and do things that impress US to the opposite sex thinking that since where so impressed with it then the opposite sex will too. The problem with this is the opposite sex thinks differently and this is where all the problem arise. If Men and Women understood how the opposite sex thinks then we would be able to communicate and understand each other better.

I had this girl tell me that she had sex with one of her ex boyfriends and then he didn’t call her for two weeks after they had sex. She said even though they weren’t together she thought that the sex meant that they were still emotionally connected. She decided to call him the following week feeling angry and asked him why he didn’t call her back. He replied and said that he doesn’t understand why she is mad for. He continued to say ” Why are you so mad for we had sex I thought you would be happy because you were horny and wanted some I’m trying to make you feel good. I thought you were calling to set up another sex session not call me up to yell at me”

So in this example her ex boyfriend was giving her what he thought she wanted because that is what he wanted. Sex is what would make him happy in this situation so he thought that is what would make her happy.

The girl in this situation thought the ex boyfriend came back to re-establish an emotional connection they had. So she had sex thinking that he was having sex with her to re-establish that connection. She thought this because that was why she was doing it and assumed he was doing it for the same reasons

A lot of people don’t realize this because you say to yourself I like (insert whatever you like here) so that means that this other person should like it too because what I like makes sense because I like it. The thing is Men and Women like different things.

I remember I was flirting with this girl one time and she was telling me about how she has her master’s degree and how much money she makes. I didn’t really care about all of that but I know why she was telling me that.

That is what she likes and its understandable that she would want to say that and think it would impress me. It is something that she finds interesting. When all you know is what you like you assume that the opposite sex wants what you want. This is why a lot of unattractive guys think that its hard for them to get women because a lot of guys like women based on their looks when they first meet them so they assume that women will like men just based on their looks when they first meet them.
